Panel Manufacturing
PCC Panels
PCC panels receive incoming power and distribute it to downstream loads and panels, with metering and protection at the primary distribution level.
Overview
About PCC Panels
A Power Control Centre sits at the head of the low-voltage distribution. It receives the incoming supply, usually from a transformer or generator, through an incomer breaker, and distributes it over a main busbar to outgoing feeders that supply sub-panels, MCCs and large loads. Because it carries the full load of the installation, its ratings, busbar system and protection coordination are fundamental to the safety and reliability of everything downstream.
Metering and protection at the incomer and on important feeders let operators see the loading and let faults be cleared close to where they occur. Prime Volt Systems builds PCC panels on a 415 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz system with ratings up to 6300 A, copper or aluminium busbars and IP42 to IP54 enclosures, to IS / IEC 61439. Short-circuit withstand and the other project values are confirmed for each job.
