Transformer Maintenance
Scheduled and corrective maintenance to keep distribution transformers operating reliably, reducing the risk of unplanned downtime.

Overview
About Transformer Maintenance
A transformer is expected to run for decades, but heat, moisture, load and age all wear on its insulation, oil, bushings and connections. Regular maintenance finds developing problems early, when they are cheaper to fix and before they cause an outage.
Our maintenance covers visual inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance and condition assessment, and ends with a report of what was found and what was done. Maintenance intervals depend on the transformer and its duty, so the schedule is agreed for the specific equipment and site.
To plan the work, please share
- Transformer rating, voltage class and type (oil-filled or dry-type)
- Location and access, and whether a shutdown is possible
- Age of the unit and any known issues
- Earlier maintenance records or test reports, if available
- Preferred timing, for example planned shutdown windows
