Power Distribution Panels

Power distribution panels distribute power from an incoming supply to multiple circuits, with protection on each outgoing way.

Overview

About Power Distribution Panels

A power distribution panel takes an incoming supply and divides it into a number of outgoing circuits, each with its own protection. It is the board that turns one supply into many safe, individually controlled circuits for lighting, small power, process equipment or sub-panels. Per-circuit protection means a fault on one circuit trips only that circuit, and the rest of the installation keeps running.

Layout and labelling decide how serviceable a board is in practice. Clear circuit identification, space for future ways and easy access to terminations make faults quicker to trace and changes easier to make. Prime Volt Systems builds power distribution panels for 415 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz supplies, with copper or aluminium busbars, to IS / IEC 61439, as floor-standing or wall-mounted assemblies.
